People often ask the writer what, how, or by whom they were inspired to write down an idea and put it into song. If you're lucky enough to live in Nashville or a city where songwriters gather to perform, you'll hear the story behind the songs at live shows. The Bluebird Cafe (Nashville, TN.) is a perfect example of what it's like to get the "behind the scenes" scoop, and hear how a song came to be.

Realizing that many of you may not live in an area where you can experience such a show, I was asked to add a few words about the creation of some of my songs. Below you'll see just a few samples.
